A shifting condenser with a three-lens construction. There is no manufacturer's name but may be of European origin. The two top lenses can be unscrewed individually to reveal the lowermost, lowest numerical aperture one. With swing-out iris diaphragm (a bit tarnished but working smoothly). 1930's Watson Service. Original box, factory card with matching serial nos. Watson Para 2/3" & 1/6", Utiity 1/12" objectives. Watson eyepiece. Sartory Instruments "Dutt" brass mechanical XY stage. The original Watson Abbe condenser (supplied) has lost the diaphragm control lever but is otherwise in VG condition. A modern fully functional Watson Abbe has been fitted.
